Explore Bicton House Camping & Caravanning
Where you can find us
Bicton House Camping & Caravanning is located on a family-run working farm in the heart of beautiful Shropshire, three miles outside of the historic town of Shrewsbury and within easy acces of the wonderful Welsh border.
There are 44 pitches in total, 22 of which come with electric hook-ups, and a choice of two fields: Barn Field or Sam’s Field.
Barn Field can accommodate 16 hook-up pitches for tourers, vans and tents and 2 hook-up pitches for tents only. The field is surrounded by trees offering nature’s own protection. We have a shower block, toilets, washing up area and drying space along with a chemical waste disposal area and a mains water supply.
Sam’s Field is opposite Barn Field and has beautiful views across to the Long Mynd (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the Wrekin. The field has 4 electric hook-up pitches and the rest of the field is available for campers who don’t need electricity. There is also a mains water supply.
Dogs are very welcome on our campsite but no more than two per pitch please and always on a lead, as we are a working farm with animals! Please clear up after your dogs at all times. At Bicton House and surrounding areas we have some excellent walks for exercising your dogs.
Bicton House is a picturesque farm located in the quiet village of Bicton. The village shop, petrol station (where calor and propane gas bottles are available) and pub are all within a 10 minute walk from the farm (though the pub may take longer on the way home!).
