Explore The Boat House Lodge
Where you can find us
The Boat House Lodge is your home-from-home open-plan apartment located in Wroxeter, a historic and picturesque village 6 miles from Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Built in 2018 and newly refurbished, The Boat House Lodge was designed with the scenery and views as the focal point.
Floor to (almost) ceiling windows look out over the garden, River Severn and fields beyond.
Everything in the open-plan apartment has been carefully chosen to ensure your getaway is relaxing and enjoyable…
A welcome hamper filled with seasonal produce will be waiting for you on your arrival. (And if you’re bringing your dog, there’ll be a few doggie treats too!)
Sit out in the (enclosed) garden with a hot drink and slice of cake, or a bottle of wine and nibbles.
The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware should you wish to dine in (after all, you can get a lot of delicious food and drink in Shropshire!)
Curl up on the sofa after a day out walking or exploring. (Underfloor heating makes the lodge extra cosy.) There’s a selection of board games and books if you need a digital detox, but there’s also wifi and a Smart TV if you want to enjoy something on Netflix.
If you’re blessed with warm weather during your stay, there’s air conditioning and remote controlled blinds to keep the Lodge nice and cool. (There’s also a coolbox so you can head outside and enjoy some alfresco drinks and nibbles in the sun or shade.)
There’s space for a crate, so your dog can enjoy a break, a run around in the garden and plenty of walks with you too.
And at the end of the day, watch the sunset over the countryside then stretch out in the super-king bed*, snuggle down into silky, soft sheets for a blissful night’s sleep.
Wake up refreshed and ready to face the world.
