Take a break and unwind at this peaceful ….. Richards Castle is on the border of Shropshire and Herefordshire, close enough to the market town of Ludlow to enjoy the lively community feel, busy markets, events and festivals that are held throughout the year. But set surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marches. It is an excellent base for walking, cycling, as well as exploring the rest of Shropshire. Or just sitting, relaxing, taking in the stunning views
Downstairs you come into the cottage via the open-plan conservatory/kitchen. This is a great space to sit, relax and take in the views. Through to the lounge for the colder months, we have a log burner, which you are welcome to use.
The bathroom is downstairs with a shower over the bath.
Upstairs there are two small double bedrooms.
There is an enclosed garden to enjoy in the warmer months.
From the property, there are many walks including the Shropshire Way and cycle routes to enjoy. We are also within easy reach of National Trust Parks including Croft Castle and Parkland and Berrington Hall.
Other things to note
The house is small but is set in such a peaceful, beautiful location.
We do accept well-behaved dogs downstairs for £20 each.
Buses go through the village to Ludlow and Leominster and onwards to Hereford
