Welcome to our large luxury group accommodation at Hencote. Exclusive-use vineyard estate for up to 28 guests across three properties, with the option to add our safari lodge to accommodate a further 4 guests. Includes hot tubs, swimming pool, sauna, gym, private gardens and sweeping views – only 1.3 miles from Shrewsbury, in the heart of Shropshire.
If you’re seeking space, privacy and uninterrupted countryside views, The Vineyard offers a truly unique stay in the heart of Shropshire. Set beside our award-winning vineyard, the estate is made up of beautifully restored properties that together sleep up to 28 guests (32 with our safari lodge), making it ideal for family gatherings, bridal parties, celebrations and corporate retreats.
The buildings have been thoughtfully renovated to combine contemporary comfort with character. The Grange, our converted Georgian barn, features seven ensuite bedrooms and a master suite with its own steam room.
The Farmhouse accommodates up to 10 guests across five bedrooms, with two reception rooms and a light-filled orangery overlooking the gardens.
A further two-bedroom apartment offers additional flexibility, and our safari lodge can be added for larger groups.
Guests can enjoy the estate’s facilities throughout their stay, including an outdoor hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, gym, tennis court, outdoor kitchen and extensive private gardens. Shared living spaces and terraces are designed for slow mornings and relaxed evenings together.
During your stay, you’re only a short walk from the vineyard itself, where you can join a guided tour and tasting, or join events and dining experiences at The View.
Whether gathering loved ones, hosting a wedding party or bringing colleagues together for time away, The Vineyard offers the comfort of a private country home with the atmosphere of a working wine estate, a place to slow down, celebrate and spend time well.
