We are ‘The Wellbank’
Situated in the Hamlet of Pickstock, on what was a Smallholding breeding Rare Breed Pigs and Sheep . The site now comprises of 3 x Hand built Shepherds Huts made locally with locally sourced materials. Insulated with our own Rare Breed Sheep’s wool . Off grid , solar for lighting and sitting in their own gardens overlooking the Shropshire countryside. This year we are adding new facilities too our already established grounds, 3 x 6 person Bell Tents, that can be booked individually, or collectively. This will give us the opportunity for small groups, Rural Weddings, Events etc. Also an exciting edition, is our Swedish Hikki Wood fired Hot Tub. Also on site is our very own hair Salon, including a massage chair , which visitors can also indulge in. Please visit Barnet In A Barn on Facebook. The wildlife and fauna is excellent. The meadows are organic. Showers and toilets are located within a Stable block a short distance from the Huts . Constant hot water, Towels and toiletries are provided. Kitchen and Eating area is also housed within the stable. Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Two Burner Calor Gas Hob, All Cutlery and Crockery is provided, complimentary teas and coffee.
BBQ is available and of course Fire Pits …
Located within five minutes of the historic town of Newport, where you will find plenty of pubs with click and collect , restaurants, take aways with delivery service and supermarkets. Waitrose Marks and Spencer’s Lidl Aldi This location is great for relaxation, immersing in nature, walking, cycling, exploring , visiting local attractions such as: Ironbridge Shrewsbury Shropshire Hills RAF Cosford Air Museum Western Park Newport Show GroundOur facilities
